The city periodically presents the Affaire in the Gardens Art Show. This allows artists to show the public their works as well as offer demonstrations on how their art is created, i.e. ceramics, woven tapestries, painting, etc. Food, wine, musical guests and art for kids are also showcased here. The Beverly Hills Farmer's Market provides the best of California's fruits, vegetables, juices, breads and flowers to the public. It is available every Sunday on Civic Center Drive from 9am-1pm. Free shuttle service is also available to the market from the corner of Dayton and Crescent. A different special event is held weekly at the market. Once a year, they host a pie baking contest and a chili cook-off.
